Gørding - fjord house and bird tower

In Gørding you will find a bird tower with a good view and the small fjord house with fishing gear from the fjord.

When you drive west on Fjordvejen near Gørding you will come to a T-junction. If you turn right, you will find the small fjord house. It is a private collection of tools that have been used on Nissum Fjord. The owner is Jytte Pårup, who can be contacted if you want to see the collection and hear about hunting and fishing in Nature Park Nissum Fjord.

If you want to visit the bird tower, instead turn left at the T-junction. Here is a parking lot at the former Gørding Harbor, which is now closed. From here there is a good view of Felsted Kog where you can observe ducks, geese and waders. There is a large distance, so it is recommended to bring a telescope and binoculars. You can also see the grazed fins down towards the fjord.
