Surf spot at Sorte Bakker

Sorte Bakker is located in the eastern part of Ringkøbing towards Velling. The place is equally suitable for windsurfing and kitesurfing and works best with wind directions between WNW and ESE, while the wind directions between NW over N to E are offshore winds of fluctuating quality.

However, the inner part of the bay to the east is best for kitesurfing due to the shallow water depth.

Spottet has nice parking options at Ringkøbing Surfklub with a fantastic view of the fjord. At Sorte Bakker you will also find both a toilet and an outdoor shower.
