Bagges Dam

For 150 years, the remains of Bagges Dam have lain as a memory from a failed drainage project at the northern end of Ringkøbing Fjord, until Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality built two bridges in 2016 and built a cycle and footpath. 

The cycle route, which goes all the way around Ringkøbing Fjord, is one of the most beautiful and diverse in Denmark. The distance is approx. 105 km, so if you drive around the entire fjord, you should probably set aside a day's time.
