Umbrella | West Coast Exhibitions is a non-profit art gallery for contemporary art in a rural setting and a shelter in the wind and rain-swept landscape of the Danish west coast.

It is not a museum. But it is our ambition to bring museum-quality exhibitions to a place not traditionally associated with art. Every year, Danish and international artists or curators, whose work is characterized by a clear formal language and/or a strong artistic conception, are invited to organize up to three exhibitions, each lasting approx. two months. We celebrate art, and we celebrate it here, where it rarely appears. Right at the edge of the field. Together with the birds. Under the west coast's majestic sky and in the clear light of the exhibition space. In the middle of nowhere.
