Houvig Fortress

Distance: 10.27 Km

3,8 km north of Søndervig is one of the most important German fortresses in Denmark from World War II.

Take a walk and see the Kryle-Ringelnatterstillingen.

It consists of 50 bunkers and approx. 50 other concrete plants, which functioned as part of the Germans' Atlantic violence with cannons, anti-aircraft guns and machine gun bunkers. Around the fortress there were also large minefields and barbed wire barriers.
