In the aquarium are eels and eels, two of the fish species that have their own stories for the area. See how they are caught, eaten and what is being done to preserve the stocks. 

Get up close to fish and crabs in the petting pools and join in when the fish are fed twice a week.

Go on board the last original copy of an ocean liner and hear about the terrible rescue accident that claimed the lives of five rescuers from Hvide Sande in 1951. Learn about what you do to avoid sailing and bathing accidents today.

The museum shows the history of Hvide Sande through the ages and the impact of the drainage lock on the environment in Ringkøbing Fjord.
