Follow the winding staircase up into the lighthouse and be rewarded with the most amazing panoramic view of the sea, dunes and fjord. The area around Lyngvig Lighthouse also offers many experiences. 

Step into Lyngvig Lighthouse and see how the staircase winds its way up through the 38 meter tall lighthouse. Count the steps on the way to the top and take in the view through the small windows along the way. When you reach the top and step out, you are greeted by the most fantastic view over the sea, fjord and dunes.

The area around Lyngvig Lighthouse also offers many free experiences.

Lighthouse keeper's residence with shop and café

Visit Fyrmesterboligen with the cozy museum shop, which is full of a large selection of fun retro goods, nostalgic art, local goods and souvenirs. At the back of Fyrmesterboligen you will find the cozy café environment. The café offers light dishes, cake and cold and hot drinks, which can be enjoyed both inside but also in the large outdoor area around the lighthouse. 

Large nature playground

On the large nature playground around Fyrmesterboligen, the family's youngest and childish souls can play back in time and rescue gifted sailors in dramatic strandings on the cable car or try to crawl around in a giant whale skeleton.

Join us on an adventure in nature

Lyngvig Lighthouse is located in the most beautiful dune landscape - and only a few meters from the North Sea. Park the bike or car and go for a walk through the dunes, go to the beach and feel
North Sea.

You can also download the popular and free app Natureventyr and go on an adventure in the area with the boy Anker, who discovers and tries to help a stranded whale.

Practical information and availability

It is free to visit the shop, the café and the nature playground. It is only if you want access to Lyngvig Lighthouse that you have to pay an entrance fee. Children and young people under 18 are free when accompanied by an adult. 

Dogs on a leash are welcome

There is wheelchair access to Fyrmesterboligen with café and shop. There are fixed pavements on paths in the courtyard and there is a disabled toilet.
