Søndervig Beach

The beach lies next to the North Sea and is a popular bathing beach. It is a characteristic North Sea beach with high dunes, a fine sandy beach and the possibility of fresh wind and wild waves.

Arrival, parking space and facilities: You drive to the beach via Badevej. There is parking in several places in Søndervig town, near the shops, and there is access to the beach via a 200 meter long paved path. The path provides access for wheelchair users, bathers with prams and those with walking difficulties.

Information: At the beach, there is information about swimming safety and Bathing point. At selected times during the high season, there are lifeguards on the beach - information about this is available at the beach.

Visitor: Locals from the nearby towns, e.g. Hvide Sande and Ringkøbing, as well as holidaymakers. The city is well visited by tourists from both the Netherlands and abroad.
