Hover Å Dalen

Hover Å Dalen offers a historic nature experience in a large and beautiful area in West Jutland. Go for a walk on the good routes and experience attractions from the past and a rich animal and plant life.

Hover Å Dalen is a scenic area that contains many stories and memories of the past. Hover Å winds its way idyllically through the valley. The river is approx. 11 km long and here is open for fishing during certain periods. In the area you can see the old watermill from the 1600th century, the Bronze Age mounds at Muldbjerg and Hestbæk, a small stream between the hills, where legend has it that at midnight you can meet a headless horse. Around Hover, Velling, Ølstrup and Tim you can find hiking routes.
